This tour shows the beautiful landscape opening up between the mountains and the sea in southern Iceland. The tour starts on the meadows where many birds have their nests. We ride along the stream Ölfusá and down to an island in the river delta. Then we turn up towards the mountains and continue along the mountain Reykjafjall, where both sheep and horses graze in summertime. From the foot of the mountain we also get a beautiful view of the river delta and the Ölfus area.

Age limit
7 years but participants have to be able to be comfortable around horses and be able to maneuver the horse by themselves.

Please note: If the weather does not allow us to go into the mountains the direction of the riding will be changed.
