River Ride - Canoeing tour

This white water canoeing tour is run yearly in the lovely river of Hvítá. If you're looking for a challenging adventure out in the Icelandic nature river ride has it all. The canoes are inflated and selfbailing, meaning that they do not fill with water and are easy to manuever in the rapids. Two people sit together in the canoe and steer it, meanwile a guide in a kayak makes sure everything is safe and sound. You'll paddle down the Hvítá river which has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We travel for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river. We only recommend this trip to those looking for action and are in good physical condition. The RiverRide is a great action trip, specially for those with some experience in rafting.
